It was 10 years ago this August that Cash and I welcomed into our home our first set of foster sisters. As I look back over these past 10 years, tears come to my eyes when I remember how we have been supported by our community, family and church. Thanks to each and every one of you for your words of encouragement, hugs, listening ears, helping hands, prayers and financial support of Foster and Adoptive Family Services (FAFS). We are what we are because you are what you are! THANK YOU! Once again I ask for your financial support for Foster and Adoptive Family Services (FAFS). Through FAFS events, we learn new and better ways to serve the children in our care, meet other resource families who share our experiences, watch our children meet other children who share their experiences as either foster or adopted children and, sometimes, see our children reconnect with birth siblings who have been placed with a different family. Each time I attend a FAFS event or meeting, I find some resource family that inspires me by their dedication and realize I can do more too. I am inspired to move forward with increased dedication. For all of these reasons, I am asking you to once again step forward and offer your financial support to FAFS. Please be as generous as you can to help these children rebuild their lives.
